Can we stop acting like this was an accomplishment? It was fun at the time, but everyone beat texas last year. Their worst team in a long, long time.

I've seen us play bad Nebraska and Oklahoma teams over the years and STILL get rolled. A win at Texas is still a win at Texas - good or not. And I think they finished 5-7 last year. Don't be fooled, they were still good enough to beat us.

crazy fluke then, again.

UConn averaging 7 penalties a game, 1 for 5 yards against ISU...late in the game
Baylor averaging 11 penalties a game, 2 penalties against ISU...late in the game
Mizzou averaging 8 penalties a game, 0 so far, if there is one it will be late in the game

This doesn't even bring up our horrible % of being screwed on every single close review.

We're not a good team right now, but our opponents have some help from the officials. If you don't think so after looking at all the numbers and replays, you're the one with the tin foil hat on.

Quoting because it is true.

Bottm line is that we are getting pounded up front on both sides of the ball. We are just way too soft...

This needs to stop. Teams don't need to do any of those things against this team. Get off the wildcard line on Coast to Coast.

So you're saying Missouri needed to commit 9 penalties to beat Western Illinois by 69 points?

We're not good but we're better than FCS and Sun Belt teams. Our opponents commit 5-10x the penalties when they play FCS and Sun Belt teams than when they play ISU.

Paul Rhoads has a LOT of explaining to do. How can Pollard expect anyone to show up to watch this garbage when our guys aren't prepared at all to play, show absolutely zero effort, and it doesn't look like we'll win another game?

I wouldn't blame anyone for not showing up the rest of the season. Why should anyone bother? Tell us Pollard. Why?

This is a program changing loss IMO. Neither Texas or Baylor physically dominated us, just as John and Eric just said, but today Missouri is just manhandling us on both sides of the ball and it isn't even close. And the worst part, we weren't prepared to play this game today and not only that, we've given no effort either.

At this point, I'm not sure this program is deserving of any more support or not?

OK, I don't have the money, but I'm thinking of financing a trip out of the country, to a private island with no TV or radio for the Oklahoma game. I'm thinking whatever it costs, it will be worth it so I don't have to endure that game. It's going to be indescribable.

So those of you (Tornado Man) who wanted Barnett to take over...how did that go over for you.

First time in any game...pretty much falls trying to take a knee.

Second time in a game and an INT on first pass.

A larger and more troubling question is how three years into a coaching regime the QB situation can be so dismal...
