Fred lost it more than the officials. Got 2 timeouts. Use one, draw up a play. Makes no sense to have Clyburn go 1 on 1. He needed to watch Iowa use the same strategy and lost a chance to win against Purdue.

Was he trying to save the Timeouts for OT? Can't play like that.

Can't tell what happened because it froze up, but all I can say is a smart basketball doesn't play like there's a 5 second shot clock when they're up 9 in the 2nd half on the road.

Even in wins, this team relies too much on the (extremely quick) 3 as it is. WAY too much. It's pretty frustrating too watch.

This is it exactly. It seems like we play well for a while, maybe even for a game. Great ball movement, work it around the perimeter, inside out, and hit the open shot. Then, after a couple fall, everyone thinks they are LeBron and we fire quick fade-away 3's after one pass. Then everyone is out of position, they get fast breaks, chaos ensues. We just cant seem to learn to play the same way all the time.

However, we played a great game, just like ku we should have won. If we play like this the rest of the year we will be fine. Got to have the next 2.

I forgot about the push on Tyrus, before the ball even got there (so he couldn't have been out of bounds). That was another key BS call.

Too bad wasting such a good offensive night from Babb. OSU has a lot of talent why they don't win more is the question. I remember when GIA was a really top notch arena but it is a shadow of it's former self - everyone is going to Thunder games I guess.

Didn't he use all of them?

Big 12 is either corrupt or just doesn't give a s**t about refs. To many examples in both football and basketball. I really wish ISU had a viable option to leave.

Not with Fred as our coach. Nothing against Fred, but I swear the Big 12 officials know that Fred won't complain about anything, so they screw him over. And I'm serious about that.

It's too late when there's only 2 secs left in the game to get upset about the refs screwing your guys over. Fred is just not going to get any calls with his laid back attitude. Refs know he won't get upset and the other coach will.

This - very much so this! There have been more than a few times, such as tonight where Jonny, Larry, or Tim would have been going ballistic and rightfully so. I love Fred - but still.

He was hacked across the ******* arm. Derpy derp derp.

Forgot about that one as well. He was totally hacked by the first guy, right before Forte grabbed the ball. Ironically, Ejim had just gotten called for doing the same thing on the other side of the court. We got jobbed so many times, that I forgot about most of them.

Tough game, tough break for ISU after being up the whole game practically. But I feel better about our team than after the Tech game.

And what good did it do them? All they ever got out of it was a T, at best. Fred lets the officials know they're doing a ****** job, but he doesn't screw the team over while he's doing it.

I normally don't berate the officiating because they are normally inconsistant in all games.
My theory is, "you have to play so good, that you could care-less what the officials call."
However, right now I can easily slow down my DVR, and "clearly" see the non-foul calls against us, WITH AN OFFICIAL LOOKING RIGHT AT IT. and there wasn't even anything mentioned. Even Ejim's give away under the basket, 4 hands were on the ball, wasn't much of a struggle, but if that wasn't a jump ball, That little tenderfoot grabbed Melvin's arm as he was pulling the ball away. I'M LOOKING RIGHT AT IT! And the goofy official is standing on the sidelines with wistle in mouth, and he let it go. (I'm done... I could go on all night) just a **** poor performance from the zebra squad tonight.

I just feel like I wasn't watching the same game as the crowd that calls Fred out for saving the timeouts. The players made some bone headed mistakes, some during possessions that were set up very well to get shots late in the shot clock. We did use all those timeouts by the way so don't understand the ot comment either.
