Someone put it correctly a few weeks ago. It is clear that a segment of our fan base wasn't ready to be a good team.

There was a lady at the game in a Hawk shirt chanting "Go Hawks". And an elderly couple sat in the row below us wearing their UNI sweatshirts. Ok I guess...

Other than that, it was a win. Sometimes ISU's 1-1 defense is not so good. It tightened up though in the latter part of the game to build a little cushion.

I'm just surprised we got to the 70 mark. we were in the teens 7 minutes in the game.

We had 3 points 7 minutes into the game. Down by 10, won by 11. I guess we woke up after that.

I sat to your right because the purple UNI couple were to my left a section. I don't even know who they were cheering for. Weird.

Yes, it is pretty hard to watch Kane take a shot to the throat, get knocked to the ground, and kneed in the nuts, with no call and Smart almost getting him ejected on a play where he barely touched Smart.

Honestly though Kane doesn't do himself any favors. I think he'd get more calls if he didn't spend as much time pleading for them.

Yep, and they are the ones that cannot handle any criticism of the team's performance.

Last time we played like this against TCU we played WV next and got our ***** handed to us. Guess who we play next?

This team is so bi-polar it drives me nuts. I really hope we take WV to the woodshed. Everyone will need to show up to make that happen. I think this could be our best outing yet.

While that game was embarrassing, until someone not named Kansas beats us in Hilton, I'll continue to have a good feeling we'll win there.

It's fair to criticize, but it seems silly to be down on this team right now. We know how they play. The game went exactly as expected to anyone that has watched this team all season. We've lost 5 games. 5. Look around. Everyone loses and everyone has weaknesses. We have less than 95% of college basketball. We're a good team that doesn't need to apologize for winning by 11 on the road.

Listened to the first half on the radio. How legit were the two offensive fouls on Ejim? Those calls really seemed to set the tone for the first half in terms of getting us off to a sluggish start.

Good win, can't bring it emotionally or physically every night. This team sort of plays to the competition at times and does enough to win when they have to. Bring on wv.

They were legit fouls, and it did affect the team. Aside from that, ISU won on the road. Way to go Cyclones!

They weren't terrible, but the TCU players did a good job selling the charges.

Thank god we were undefeated in non conf. Makes life easier in the B12.

Chintzy fouls. Five minutes gone in the first half. Came back at the eight minute mark. The second half Fred had the guys back off fouling on their drives.

I enjoy hawk misery as much as anybody, but come on we're 21-5 and out front page looks like ZachMcCabeFanatic.com
