Someone who knows reffing... Is the shot clock violation open to interpretation? Like it a defender is obviously going to get the ball (like what we just saw) do rules allow for them to continue play, or is the rule they have to have established possession?

If the possession is clearly changed, then no violation. In this case, it was a judgment call. Of course it went against ISU.
