Remember also that Sage or Seneca never had Manning and some of the conservative play calling? This has hindered Brock in the big games, no doubt, IMO.

I agree but disagree at the same point. Yes, there is zero doubt that Manning has not helped Brock develop. Brock's best season and the offenses' IMO was the one where Manning was in Indy and the NFL...

That said play calling is not decision making. Which for everything good Brock has done - IMO - has also been a concern. there are more than a few good moments but there are also a decent number of moments that make me look at a 4 year starter and shake my head.............................


the other thing to remember is that Sage and Seneca never had this kind of talent team wide around them. Sage obviously had that very good team and Seneca's teams had some talent but probably not this program wide.


He's easily one of the better QB's in history, statistically he is obviously. And yes, Manning has certainly not helped. I'm glad he found Charlie there and at least if nothing else can go out with a better taste in his mouth and head off to great success to whatever comes next for him
