I'm getting drunk. If it gets ugly early, maybe the Hallmark channel has a hilariously bad Christmas movie on.
I'm taking the reverse approach. Will be following the game on phone while watching Christmas movie. If its close at half (10 or less) I'll tell her we're hitting pause on the movie.

Edit: The drunk part is happening regardless

Thanks Rulzzz!!!! GO STATE!!! BEAT THE HAWKS!!!!! (at least stay close) Someone mentioned telling the bigs they have 15 fouls to give, I'd say add Steyer to the mix and let him go hack the hell out of Garza, and that's 5 more. Make sure he fouls him hard enough it doesn't go in.

Sharps don't miss too much, I suspect more of an Iowa letdown between UNC and Gonzaga
If anything, I would think Iowa would blow their load tonight, and then Gonzaga blows their load against them.

More likely the latter. I wouldn't think that about any other team in the country, but the Hawks just might be misguided enough to consider beating the Cyclones more important than a game for a #1 ranking.

I just wish we were trotting out a starting lineup of.....

Haliburton
Bolton
Wigginton
Horton-Tucker
Solomon Young or Conditt

If kids couldn't leave early for the NBA, that's what we'd have out there tonight. With guys like Coleman-Lands, Harris, Dubar, Foster, etc coming off the bench.

Heck.... it would help just to have Tre Jackson not sitting out injured.... and Hinson out too.

But it is what it is. Putting so many guys in the NBA is always a good thing. I just hope we fight and compete tonight and not lose by 40 or 50.

I agree. Losing to #1 is forgivable. Losing to ISU is not.

The fact that you're concerned about that (as other posters have expressed too) pathetically makes the everything else irrelevant. All fans are asking for is full effort and passion.

TOE does have the better team this year, but after reading some of these posts, you'd think we are going up against the '86 Boston Celtics.
Hope the young Cyclones come out and play hard and give them a good game.
We have the 2012 Charlotte Bobcats.

Maybe?

I've been asleep by 9-9:30 lately and will probably be the same tonight.

Looked like a Saved By The Bell marathon is on some channel, and a few other reruns will be on for good options if the first half is just a repeat of the last two years.
