You know, I've repeatedly offered names of viable candidates.

That is such a rhetorical copout.

Does it matter?

How can a different staff be any worse at this point?

We're awful on ST and offense, we're gonna win one conference game, and unless I answer Nick Saban we have to stick with CMC.

You've said who you want as Head coaches.

Who's going to be your DC? Or do you want ISU to get into track meets as long as the offense is good?

And some pretty elite NFL caliber talent. It sure as hell wasn’t play calling, scheme, or special teams.

John Heacocks, recruting, development and play calling is what made the difference. The rest of the staff and teams , have been a drag on this team for the last 6 years.

How many games has the defense kept in till the final minutes for Purdy and the offense to turn it over in the final drive.

Where is he headed? If Wisconsin hires him over Leonhard their fanbase will burn down Camp Randall.
What about Ohio State? Not saying this will happen but 2 years of losing to Michigan and likely missing out on the CFP because of that. Does he jump ship to the NFL? And would they take a chance on the beloved Ohio native?
Who knows?

Amazing group on here. Just this year people were freaking out that Nebraska was going to hire Campbell now we are questioning he should be our coach? lol.

1) Campbell will be our coach next year.
2) Campbell will at least get rid of Myers (should be demoting Manning but probably won’t).
3) If at least #2 doesn’t happen, Campbell’s seat is hot for 2024 if we have another dud of a season in 2023.

The guy took us to our first and only Big 12 Championship and won our only New Years 6 game. Also owns the highest winning conference record in school history. We owe it to him to make the staff changes. If he is to stubborn to make needed changes then his seat starts to get warm.

Defense was certainly part of it but then you ignoring what Purdy, Hall, Koler, Lazard, Butler, and Montgomery did in spite of awful o-line play, scheme, and play calling.

My biggest concern for next year is that we find out that CMC had more to do with the offense than Manning. I suspect that the delays in getting the plays called were in part due to the conversations over the headsets between CMC and Manning. Could that be one of the reasons that CMC was so defensive of the play calling last week?

Postgame Press Conference:

Yeah......I..I...I don't know what happened there man....I ummm you know sometimes execution it's just not there ummmm.......
These inconsistencies once again on offense, looks like they spread to the defense.
Man, these inconsistent inconsistencies ummmmmm I....man we really need to take a greater look at it and I will get back to you with an exact on that....going to spend a few months getting that greater look...yeah.
