What if I told you winning on the road against a top 10 team because you recruited a ton of talent, whilst overcoming a short handed roster to build chemistry early is in fact....Phenomenal coaching.

Add another W to Prohm's already school leading record vs top 10 teams.

So this begs the question: What is better ~ this one win against #8 TT at home and the two recent losses against BU and KSU....OR....win against BU/KSU but lose this one?

I think if you asked me two weeks ago, I’d take the TT win in sacrificing those two losses.

Thoughts from the KSU game versus this.

The 12-13 team comes to mind...14-15 too. Just off the top of my head.

You're right though--not on all cylinders at all. But to win at #8 like that...why not?

Losing teams don't qualify for Jekyll and Hyde status. Those are just bad teams. "Jekyll and Hyde" is a description of a good team that for whatever reason at times plays like anything but.

He has such a polarizing thing but it's also justified. Bad record in close games, but pulls it off vs. top ten teams, sometimes completely dominating them, but also can't find a decent in-bounds play on youtube or something just to at least get the ball in.

Other teams have to LOVE how bad ISU is at that.

When they tied it 61-61, I was like "here we go again" (not in a good way) - but, holy cow, two quick buckets and we were on our way. Thank you Shayok for your 85% FT percentage (which you topped tonight)! He's about the only one I trust in those "must-need" FT situations! My heart can hardly handle most of these conference games!!!

Jaco's block on Culver w/about a minute left that led to a runout and Hali-2-Wiggy alley-oop layup was HUGE! That play and hitting FT's at the end put us over the top.

While there were some shaky moments out there, this team might be learning to close in the last two minutes.
