In hindsight, yes, but at the time, who knew we would have scored 2 TD's -- including one that was off a pick to set up a short field?
Can someone explain ESPN QBR rankings to me, here is the stat lines for both quarterbacks last night.
Passing Purdy 19/30 282 5 0 Rushing Purdy 15 55 1 15
Passing J. Hurts 18/26 273 3 1 Rushing . Hurts 22 68 2 13
Stat lines look about the same, Purdy's QPR is is 63.9, while Hurts is 84.5
Any help out there? Hall is going to be a stud for us the next couple of years.

I can't answer the question but shows how razor thin the difference. Most of Hurts work was done by Lamb.
I don't think many were all over the players.
A team looking unprepared and being directed away from what makes them successful is on the coaches and their decisions are fair game.
Sometimes I feel like quarterback rating is a made up stat.
I don't care how anyone feels about Skip Bayless at least he pointed out the truth and he has a national program so at least he can get this out to a broader audience - I like Huard but he danced all around it on the broadcast instead of just calling it what it was.

Yeah, I’d cheer for the Hawkeyes over Baylor football, and it’s not even a hard decision.
It really isn't close.
I don't watch much of it but Hawk football isn't that big of a bother...it's their fans that ruin it.
Basketball on the other hand...although their fans are the players so the annoyance is natural.
Cheering for neither team is an option.

In the post game interview Riley said he wanted nothing more than to bury Iowa state but they are a very good team. So their plan was to bury us so I'm not sure they would have called a different game coming out of halftime.
