Good call. Looks to me like Lanning is going out to win the job for the rest of the season. Sam does not complete that TD pass... Lanning stuck with it and put it up for Q to catch it. Nice couple of drives.

Rhoads: "Probably a pass that shouldn't have been thrown. Could have cost us a chance at a FG."

That drive makes me hate the staff even more if thats possible... Freaking idiots... Lanning doesnt know the playbook though so... AHHHHHHHH

To bad Lanning will be ripped for throwing a pass to a covered WR...

I'm ticked off too right now. All we heard from this staff was how Lanning didn't know the playbook, couldn't throw it as good as Sam, etc. And when we did see him come in, all they would let him do is run it because we were led to believe he couldn't throw it.

So last week he throws a great deep route for a 74 yd TD pass to Lazard, and his coach says he shouldn't have thrown it? Now this week, he comes in and thus far has shown the ability already to throw better than Sam.

I have no idea what this coaching staff sees? I just don't get it?

It surely couldn't be anything about sample size. None at all.
