That poster is trying to make the case that because people in the gameday thread will sometimes show frustration in the moment by saying irrationally negative things that when things go well they need to point out the irrational nature of those posts. I find it petty, myself.

Looked like we were running a stunt that took our DL away from the point of attack. We guessed wrong.

Teams who stay patient are going to have success against this defense. We aren't going to stop the run with 4 in the box so as long as you don't get pass happy moving the ball against us is pretty simple.

I could make a 4 hour montage of our defense giving up 9 yard passes on third and 8 the last 15 years....it is wierd that our dbacks are that dumb...consistently throughout different coaching regimes.

When you don't have the secondary talent that a school like, say, Alabama has, you pick your poison - do you give up the cushion and short passes all game, or do you face your man up and risked getting burned down the field all game long because your secondary can't keep up with their WRs.

Remember - you only get to pick one.

Defensively ISU is 1 step behind every snap..it seems we are playing just a step slow on every snap..Not to make an excuse but when u lose your pre game rythym and routine this is how a team looks.
