By no means do I think this erases all of the doubts about McDermott, but this win does make me feel a little better than what I was feeling after Tuesday night's game.

You're never as good as your best win, and never as bad as your worst loss.

Funny thing is, I forgot about this game until I came back to this website. I was way to focused on NFL today. But good win for the Clones. I just don't understand how they can lose to SDSU at home and then the next game down at Houston and they pull out a victory.

Maybe they thawed out.

I don't like the guy, but I believe that quote.

Sounds better than they did:biggrin:

Glad you got to see the guys in person. It's tough living far away and not having any chance to see them.

Our time in Nebraska, we didn't have any TV coverage, so I relied on write-ups from the Register. Man, I wish I'd known about CF back then.

Heck, I'm still a student  just have family down here in Texas. Crazy thing is I nearly forgot about the game till my folks asked me if we had one the next few days. My parents are Houston grads so it was easy to talk them into the game.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of families decked out in ISU gear. They made me proud to be a Cyclone!

I had said earlier that this was a must win for ISU after the debacle against SDSU. If they make any noise in the Big 12 and make the post season, they will point to this game as a turning point.

Now the bad news, it seems that Brackins has to play huge any time we win a close game. Somebody must step up on a consistent basis. I thought Garrett would end up being that guy but Peterson has been the guy to score more recently.

Hamilton is getting some nice minutes which is good since he's more of an offensive threat than Thompson. JVB could be the guy but is not as consistent.

My grandmother is more of an offensive threat than Alex. He just doesn't look to score.

A big man complement to Craig could help this team be a lot better.

It's fun to dream, huh? but seriously...postseason? not this year. Good game though. Road win. Gotta love those.

We've got to stay behind these guys.....the good wins are going to start being more common and the bad losses are going to be more rare, but both will continue to happen this year. I believe in the team, and I believe in their coaches. It's just a matter of time. Great win tonight!
