Refs determined the game... that and zero O after the first drive...

The refs? The refs didn’t completely abandon the offensive scheme that worked on the first drive. The refs didn’t give up a bunch of sacks and cause our defense to get worn down.

I think we’re hurting from not playing week one.

O-line was not terrible to start....they were winning scrums a few times.....I just think that was not going to sustain against this tough team.....we played into their game plan almost. like we were complicit.

Back to the days of massive WR hype yet no ability to separate. Terrible terrible OL play, terrible offense all around. This was every bit as bad as the worst Messingham disaster. Garbage. Great effort from the D and another masterful job by Heacock. Just too many short drives and shanked punts.

When we tried to throw downfield early, we got sacked. That killed a few drives and I think Iowa took advantage of that knowledge and really pressed our O-Line.
