Iowa only made a handful of plays against a very salty defense, so that's a bright spot.
But every team we play the rest of the year is better than Iowa, and it's a bad deal the season has started the way it has--with the Big 12 opener just a week away.
Our coaches basically elected to go on the road with a game plan that they would just slow walk the game and magically win in the end. They forced zero turnovers.

Canceled game may have been a blessing (because we didn’t lose it)
Although I think this was just a really good game plan from Iowa. We have limitations on offense (can’t run outside, our QB can’t make some of the throws) and they really took advantage of it. And their DL kicked the crap out of our OL.

And we would have gotten the ball back with maybe a minute and 3 scores. You don't go for it on 4th and 25 unless it's the final seconds of the game.
Campbell came in all cocky with the game plan to beat Iowa at their own game, running up the middle all day. And he was too stubborn to change. That was our demise.

Should have just kept the O line the same as against SDSU unless Newell is hurt.
