I don't know why people are so upset. Our offense line was poor last year and it all graduated/retired/got hurt. Our defensive line has sucked since about 2005 and we have a guy who went through the hell of chemotherapy starting.

Yeah, I like the Mitchell Meyers story, but is it really a good thing that he's a starter???

Why not? We got beat by a UNI team that was playing poorly. Anyone that expected us to keep this close is delusional.

I would like to know why we are so much worse than last year though. I mean, we were bad last year, but we did beat UNI and kept it close against Iowa.

It wasn't going to turn around in 1 off season. That said, I don't think any of us thought it would get this much worse.
