Encouraging first series by Park. He made some good throws and we'd be money ahead if he can just make the easy throws.

Okay its only been 1 series but Park has 1000x the pocket presence as JL. He can feel the pressure and slide the right way, and also doesn't stand there too long flat footed.

Park does seem to have the better arm but honestly we're going to need 2 or 3 QBs anyway, maybe more.

Yeah, I still cared back then. I have to say I was surprised that Mac rebounded to have a couple OK years after that....largely because of Bret Meyer and the tall reciever. I just don't know how these cats can go recruit after that UNI game. Tonight happened....**** happens. But I don't see any creative or sound basis to think these guys can do it after that turd of a game. Keep Sawwing Wood boys....Mangino be sitting on the beach at Clearwater.

Another thing that I will be watching the coaches for. It is there job to ensure that the team doesn't completely tank.

You'll be sure to call out each and every player and every time they tank I'm hoping. Most of the rest of us will be looking for the incremental improvements but we NEED someone to point out the poooo in the punch bowl the rest of us may not recognize.

I just want to say again, how sorry I am for you guys who have to deal with Iowa fans on a daily basis. God speed. Never forget that being an ISU fan is always 100x better than being an Iowa fan.
