Here's a little insight for you. There is more than just a deep ball that some of us can see. We see quick decisions, quick release, tight spiral, and hitting his receivers with yes, a strong armed throw.

It's an obvious difference and if you can't see it, put your beverage down and re watch tomorrow when you sober up.

The decision is quick because hes only throwing to lazard. I mean cmon dont act like you can evaluate a quarterback after a 3 and out.

A single game in the Loss column doesn't seem appropriate after this. I feel like this should count for 2 or 3 losses.

This game may feel like 2 losses to you......and the Liberty Bowl was worth 3 wasted years as it felt at the time when no coaching or staffing adjustments were made.
The UNI game felt like 3 years worth of losses....because as I will be shown to be correct....that is what it will be in the year 2020 when we do this again. It is all about Coaching and Recruiting.....I saw little of the former last week and that resulted in SERIOUS damage to the latter.

What was Ferentz's record his first year at Iowa? How about Bill Snyder, what was his record his first year at K-State? Both of those coaches went to school, took their lumps and learned their lessons well. It takes time to turn around a football program. I believe that over time Coach Campbell will build a winning program at Iowa State. Go Cyclones!

Totally different dynamic. You cannot compare. You can compare what you see now to the last 6 Indiana coaches though for a good analogy. Mac was unique, and Rhoads actually had an upward arcing program until the PinStripe Bowl....and then....you know....
