Somewhere in the U.S.
By the idiotic contract extension that was negotiated.......it would take 5.3 million to buy out the contract. Not a good position to be in.

Yes. You are clueless if you honestly think we will buy-out Rhoads' contract and still have enough money to bring in a relevant D-1 coach.

Is the buyout a lump sum deal? If not, the numbers may justify a change IMO. You don't get a lot more certainty for $750k. Don't worry about winning the press conference in December with a "relevant" D1 coach. All of our options are degrees of speculation, although keeping Rhoads has more unfortunate knowns. I'd rather speculate cheaply on a "less relevant" coach and pay for better assistants.

I'm not cheering against our team, but what is happening out there today is indefensible. What positives can you take from here that make you think we are heading in the right direction? When you are bad, you can't expect to compete in every game. However, when you play the other awful team in the league, you better show up. Play well and lose, I suppose you have to swallow that. Play awful and disinterested, there is no explaining that away and you have to wonder if the locker room has been lost. I am pro-Rhoads, but wow, what is going on out there today is truly an embarrassment and needs to be assessed.

I get the feeling there are a few people out there who would go back and commend the chef if they found a short n curly in their soup. Me? I ask for my money back and stay away from the restaurant until it comes under new management.

People are getting on their high horses about being "fans". Give me something to be a ******* fan of.

I think the referees have been laughing at us this game.
I wonder if CPR will get some phantom defensive holding call to help us beat TCU in his last game as a Cyclone head coach?

Well, if anything, this is another game of experience for Grant. He has made mistakes but I like how he stays in the pocket with the rush around him and takes shots downfield.
