Quick question... obviously Breece is a monster...

but why doesn't Jirehl get a few carries here or there during the course of the game? He's obviously trusted on 3rd down - might save a bit of mileage on Breece for later in the season

To be fair IF they had different versions of targeting that should be like a tier 2 or something that's just a personal foul.

That's a rule change I would love to see. I agree that there are some targeting penalties where the offender should be kicked out of the game and sit out some of the next game as well, but often times we've been victimized by a "soft" targeting penalty (like in the Big 12 championship game last year) where there was no malicious intent whatsoever, or, in fact, the offensive player caused the helmet-to-helmet. Those penalties, if they want to flag the play, fine, but don't make us lose our player in the process.
