I guess I just don’t understand why anyone would be railing about our defense given we are pitching a shutout at halftime. Seems like the frustration is misplaced.

I think the defense is fine. Just can't have the d ends slant in on passing downs when there is absolutely nobody containing.

Yes, they aren’t perfect. But you are still whining about the top defense in the Big 12 conference last year, and a defense pitching a shutout so far this game. I guess you have to whine about everything, up to and including the best defense in the conference last season.

It's like CMC watched Iowa's game tape from last year and thought "I really like their offense, but its not quite conservative enough for me." What the **** are we doing with this playcalling! They are selling.out on the run amd we are playing right into it 90% of the time!
