This is what I thought coming in. They're very hungry to prove they're for real this year, especially with Fisher out. Our guys seem to think we're Iowa State circa about 2014 and they are TCU of the same vintage...almost like they're playing entitled. Lack of effort, and then acting surprised we're in a bit hole and forcing things. I can get behind a team struggling (we're young) but not a team that gives little effort and doesn't value possessions.

Looks like ISU just got caught up in getting a win.

They'll have to play better than they did on Saturday to beat most teams and that's going to be hard to do consistently.

They might get it to 7 or so here by halftime and have a chance.

I've been hoping to see Solomon unleash some inner anger this season...not sure it's there. He showed glimpses against Texas, but that's about it. He has the size to play physical, but just doesn't...

Yep. Was talking to my dad yesterday and we both thought this would happen - too much satisfaction on our end, a ton of anger on theirs. Not a good combination especially on the road. Finally we're showing a little passion here, and playing a bit more coherently, but it's a big hole to dig out of.

Settling in a bit now. For our lack of experience, this team does take a punch without flinching and keeps coming.

Our experienced teams have looked worse against poorer competition at times. TCU may be 1-4, but I’m convinced they’re an upper half team if Fisher isn’t gone for the year.

Love it. He's not accepting lack of defensive effort from Jackson and Weiler-Babb. Gotta get hungrier players on the floor, and Jakolby always plays tough. Brase had a nice defensive play already.

Not sure what you're watching. Young has been our best post defender all year.

The trend has been positive with Wiggs on the bench. Hopefully "Mr Hyde" shows up in the 2H.

Agree, and that's good for the long-term. Frustrating that they don't come out expecting a bigger challenge - when you're like us this year, you've got to play all-out for the full 40 minutes to have much of a chance especially on the road. I like what I've seen the last 6-7 minutes but the beginning of the game was just rough.
