Refs have been an absolute joke. Both of those "And 1's" were a complete joke of a call. Our guys didnt even touch them let alone enough contact to alter the shot.

You'd think we somehow get the worst officiated game of the year EVERY SINGLE GAME we play if you follow these game threads. It's annoying.

horrible preparation by this team.

There's no preparation which fixes a team that's done one season of defensive drills in the past 5 years. UVA is doing to us what we do to undisciplined defenses. We are able to outscore the opposition most of the time to offset our defensively inefficiency. UVA plays defense.

Need to come out in man to man the second half.

And stay in it regardless.

Also didn't have a problem with the refs that half. The moving screen calls always bug me, that kind of "you could probably call it on every possession" call but other than that I was okay with it.

McKay may as well have stayed home. Not jumping for boards, no shots...watching the game. IF and that's a doable IF, this team can get the offense active I think the defense will actually pick up. But all five players need to wake up.

Only way we win this is if McKay ends up with something like 13 rebounds and just dominates the post area on Def, we need to play our best half of the season, Virginia is good but Id easily put OU and KU above them and we've shown we can play with the big boys.

Positives: Niang played last 11 minutes with 2 fouls and that is where it ended. Game was heading for 30 pt halftime lead. Guys battled.

So both of those 3 point plays were legit? Umm, ok, I watched the replay on dvr a number of times, we barely grazed the guy let alone fouled them.
