WV looks like they're playing some sort of junkyard defense where the timing is screwing ISU up.
The most important half of the season thus far is here. This will be interesting.
30 seconds left might be short enough that i'd still just take it to half, but yes overall we are way too conservative in this regard. Plenty of teams have scored on us with 2 minutes left in a half, but we'd usually be happy to run out the clock if we'd been given 2 minutes.

WVU playing 4 freshmen in 2ndary, 3 true freshmen, 3 freshman on oline. wrs all true freshmen(James, te who picked on crossing pattern, jemmings, wheaton).
Jack Allison was a 4 star qb out of high school. he has a cannon, just hasnt started bc he is a statue in the pocket.
WVU gave 4-2 nc state a bad loss.
WVU had the ball down 21-17 in 4th quarter against texas before kendall threw back to back picks deep in our own territory.
In short, WVU has a good coach, a real good coach, and kids are getting better each week.
WVU also has 3 future NFL players on its dline, and ISU is doing better blocking them than Texas did.
This is a very young WVU team, but there is a lot of talent there.

Really hope that we come out of the break, stop shooting ourselves in the foot every single drive, and really get things going here. Yes I know we've been waiting for that all year and it hasn't really happened yet, but maybe the 6th time is the charm?
Am I crazy to say that Johnson has been better than Lima this year? With Vance out I wouldn’t mind seeing us go to a 4-2-5 and letting the big boys eat up the middle.
