He was recruited by Alabama and played against Nerlens Noel so he isn't a scrub.
Last year we blitzed a lot on 3rd down. This year we don't. We made stanley look great. We are now making this backup look good.
Heacock wants his Mensa invitation......been reading too much of his own press. totally overthinking it. That 3rd and long where we rushed 2, there was like 3 guys at the line of scrimmage doing nothing and in position to do absolutely nothing to help the play....ridiculous, NOT innovative.
Last I knew there's a lot of intricate 'tells' that goes into scouting and preparing for a QB and when you don't have those for a backup, it can get a defense scrambling.
That said, bad tackling after catch or on 3rd and 4 have been big contributors.
