I was stressing in the first half because we were letting a backup QB throw all over us and the only reason we were tied was because of an illegal hands to the face penalty on 3rd down against WVU and a very fortunate spot for us on 4th down. The team and staff made amazing adjustments at half and completely shut down WVU.

I was a little edgy when WVU drove for that touchdown before halftime, but once it was 24-14, I was fairly relaxed. Still remained braced a little for something to go awry (it's ingrained as ISU fan), but really wasn't an indication the game would go that that way.

Really, that was the best ISU has looked in a half in quite a while. Defense basically locked down, offense was controlled and 'multiple', and specials teams didn't screw up.
