Prohm is an interesting case. He has a certain earnestness that allows him to be a really good recruiter, but the guy just can’t coach. He’s either an ace asst/recruiter for a top 10-15 team or a mid major coach. But he’s not a big-time coach.

I agree Prohm tonight is definitely NOT a Big Time Coach....

Prohm didn’t put Conditt in til his normal rotation around 8 min in. We were down 25-10 by then. Have played even since then.

I say this every year. Prohm is a nice guy but he’s not tough and his teams play that way. Our incoming recruiting class better be awesome right away because with Tyrese likely going pro next year could be brutal. This year is hanging in the balance right now and if it doesn’t get better next year could be worse.

Especially when you shoot 25% from 3 and 34% overall. But sure, keep jacking **** up...

Very good recruiter, awful in game coach. I'm not sure why people fight against this so hard.

Reality is, Fran has out coached steve badly every time we have played. That doesn’t make Fran unique though.

It kills me that Scott Drew used to be the butt of the joke, and now he owns us.

Very good recruiter, awful in game coach. I'm not sure why people fight against this so hard.

And everyone can see it too. On offense, all of Iowa's players are moving, cutting, screening, running plays etc..... while when ISU has the ball, nobody moves at all and we pass it around the perimeter until someone decides to launch a bad 3... and it's usually Nixon because unfortunately he's the only one on our team that's not afraid to shoot it.
