Very glad we withstood Iowa best game they will play all year. Pemsl had a career night it seemed like. Iowa is going to have a very bad season.
Probably looking up some stats from past CyHawk games that prove one of Iowa's current guards is better than Matt Thomas his sophomore year.
Or was that Hawksmash? Does it matter?
Looked like he banged his shin. Maybe a contusion? Out a week and will be back when conference play starts last week.
I'll take it. Should have won by a lot more, Iowa was 1-8 from the line and had 18 turnovers usually that would equal a 20 point win, but Iowa dominated the glass which was the equalizer.
This is the first time I've been able to sit down and watch a full game since UMW game. Significantly improved since then. Especially love what I'm seeing out of Lard, Brase, and Wigginton. Not sure if we're a tournament team yet but we have a chance at least
Good guys missed a lot of shots and made some untimely mistakes and defensive lapses. Growing pains. But hurts much less when you still win.
I know it was at home but if Lindell would have blew a kiss after that last layup I would officially be in love with him.
Shot lights out first half as well. Wigginton was awesome this game. Going to be a joy watching him progress. Lard as well.

Nunge could be a decent player. The rest of their inside derpth is good at setting moving screens and crashing the boards. Just glad to get out of there with a W.
I’m not even happy. A blowout would have made me happy. I’m just relieved we didn’t lose in Hilton to another sh*tty team.
