This team wastes so many possessions by jacking up 3s within 10 seconds of a possession. What's worse is it seems it's encouraged by Hoiberg. It was a problem last year too.

Yeah, unless you are WIDE open, or down by say less than 10 points with under 2 minutes to go, there's absolutely no reason to take a 3 pointer within 10 seconds of a shot clock with a guy on you.

I have no problem with taking it early if you are WIDE open, but uh if you have a guy on you then pass it around a little more.

I think Allen is the only one of the transfers that I don't think is that great. Royce and Babb seem to play quite well.

Chris Allen doesn't seem to be a natural team guy, that's why. I think if he'd learn to play as a team with the other guys, then he might be better..

He takes some bad shots without trying to set up any sort of offense with anyone else a lot.

FTs might keep Iowa from getting run off the floor for the rest of the half. Like to see our guys tame some of that aggression on the defensive end.
