Cyclone ******* power!

that outta the way...thank god CPR's focus is on getting better every day. We're going to need it. Thankfully we've been good enough on 3 days so far.

I love this team's guts. I love their drive. Lots of things to improve, but gawddammit they don't give up, and that's something.

The bye week could not come at a better time IMO...we are dinged up, and really need to get back to the fundamentals. If we don't clean up the turnovers and penalties we aren't going to win many games in conference.

the refs tried to screw us out of this game.
we can beat texas.they are still weak and playing lots of freshmen. we need to stop their freshman running back malcolm brown.he is a good one, they cut their first string qb last week and they have another mccoy brother now starting. we need to get healed, get on the recruiting trail.there are some winnable games:tt,kansas, and k-state.
we need to drill tuberville because he dropped tcu. tuberville is a big chicken $*@#!
we need to send turner gill packing for the way kansas treated mangino.
it is our turn to kick grandpa snyder's ****!
we need to send the loser a and m packing off to the sec. i hate kansas, kansas state, and the aggies.we need to beat all three of them plus texas and toobyvile(sic) at texas tech!

Imagine if our team didn't commit so many penalties and didn't make stupid turnovers.. Well, there's still a lot of games to go. Hope they can clear these up sooner than later.

This calls for a celebration shot!

That differs from the "What a Relief" shot as the clock ran out.

And the "let's not blow it in the last minute" shot a few minutes before that.

And the "that might seal it!" shot after UConn's second-to-last series.

And the "Money shot" after the Reynolds TD.

the officials sucked major donkey ****! A sign of the screw job the Big XII officials plan to throw our way this season. The horse-collar they picked up the flag on was ridiculous.

But **** em' .......we're 3 and 0!!!!!!

Their D coordinator really threw out all the stops tonight and Jantz wasn't ready for it. Our O-line needs a lot of work yet. Sucks that it probably won't get much better this year. Our run blocking is terrible. Our O needs a ton of work. I'm definitely not an offensive genius. But I really question Herman's O on this. We run the same thing over and over, even when it's not working. Why don't we have a middle screen? We would have killed them on that tonight. And why do we keep running screen passes to the right. I think we lost yardage each one of the 4 times we ran it. (sorry, been drinking a bit, maybe it was only 3 times.) none the less, why do we look so vanilla for having such a "Genius" at coordinator?

BTW - Why is there advertising for o"HOK fans" for Honey Creek Resort on the Cyclone network? Believe me, a buck is a buck, but why would they advertise for "HOK fans" on a cyclone network?

AT the end of the day, a win is a win. Especially a win on the road. And I probably shouldn't *****. But the rest of this season scares me if we continue to play this way.

Great game, not pretty, but I'll take it any day. Best game of Patrick Neal's career, defense wins us the game tonight!

Pretty clear we were dealing with the hangover from the big win last week. Short week and on the road...real fortunate win. In past years, I think we lose this game.

Jantz didn't play well to start, but he's one cool customer being able to shake off the mistakes and injury like that.

Gritty defense tonight. Short of 2-3 big plays, our D gave them nothing.

Absolutely right about the bye week.

Part of me wished it came after the Iowa win, considering short week, emotional factor and travel. In retrospect, it's better to win ugly like this and have a chance to regroup.

---4 total yards in the first quarter with 3 turnovers
---Over 100 yards in penalties
---Wide Receiver throws the only touchdown
---QB leaves before half with injury

I really feel this team is different than past years---If this stuff happenned to ISU in the past, they would lay over and play dead and get blown out.

Guys that is a road win against a BCS conference team--last year's Boal Coalition representative from the big east. Don't care how the Clones did it. That's a good win.

We need lots of those this year.
