UNI has walked with the ball 3 times, badly. No call. But more importantly, we are not shooting the ball well. Jake is definitely having an off night. Got to penetrate the lane more effectively.

Game going to be in the 60's. No idea why anyone thought anything else. UNI is not going to let ISU run up and down the floor. Just isn't going to happen. Against teams like UNI the game is always going to be low scoring if they want it to be. Extremely difficult to dictate the tempo against a team like this.

Anderson hasn't looked like himself and JVB hasn't looked like himself and Scotty hasn't looked like himself.

Haven't read any posts in this thread... but I gotta say this:

I'm not one to complain much about officiating... but this game has been terrible. Almost everytime UNI drives to the lane... there's a call, a few legit... but a lot I haven't seen.

However Jake came in midhalf... I suspect Fred told him to drive and draw contact... only once was it called and it took the UNI guy reaching fully around his back to get the call. And between DG and Jake driving and shooting low... there's been full body contact during the shots and nothing.

This has been terrible to watch.

The officiating is BS but we have to get tougher cuz it's not gonna change. Come out in the second half STRONG and we'll be alright.

I prefer to do what high school teams like to do. Recruit a linebacker who can pass the ball when he gets it, and send him out as an enforcer.

You can step up the defensive intensity. That will get them moving a little quicker.

We played like this the first half of the Montana State game and made adjustments after the half. Hopefully we do the same tonight.

Honestly, you guys cryin about the refs are idiots. The game has been called just fine.

I'm as big of a homer as there is and I'm fine with the way the game has been officiated.

Quit cryin about the refs...you sound like babies.

UNI is going to throw it inside and challenge JVB the rest of the night - need to play SMART basketball and get Ejim, Godfrey, and Railey a few touches early.

This game has been pretty good so far.

UNI is clearly a much more physical team, which will lead to getting foul calls. Im a bit surprised we are right back in it with the foul trouble.

Good job of just hanging in there.

Fred's Halftime message.... TAKE THE BALL TO THE HOLE HARD!!

Anderson hasn't looked like himself and JVB hasn't looked like himself and Scotty hasn't looked like himself.

I think part of the reason is that we haven't had enough possessions. I absolutely hat UNIs style of play. Milk the shot clock to ten seconds then think about scoring:SLEEP:
