It was just too much for us. Baylor overwhelms teams with its offense and once they get up 21-0 or so, they just feed off the momentum. We never got our feet set in this game. We were swept away.

Briles should tell his kids to quit playing? His team is built for this, coached for this, recruited for this, they practice this way... Good on them for being so successful! Good on them for letting their 2nd and 3rd strings kids to get a taste of BU football and not take a dive for the collective psyche of ISU fans.

Our A.D. took a tremendous gamble by showing Coach Dan the door. The football program suffered a serious setback all because the A.D. was not confident Coach Dan could take ISU to the next level. This is not about the football coaches, the question is whether or not the A.D. should be held accountable for a gamble which is looking increasingly disastrous. The A.D. made a big picture move to take the football program to the next level and the big picture is not looking good. The problem is not the coaches--the problem is an A.D. who blew up a fragile football program only to leave the fans now wishing the program could be back to where it was when the A.D. declared "not good enough".

We're just running in place.
