Baylor scored 48 in the second half and shot 60%(!!) for the game. The offense lacked flow tonight, and the threes weren't falling but it was really the lack of defense that hurt the most.

Baylor has a lot of big athletic guys, when they start making outside shot, it was pretty hard to stop them. i still bet the Clones get them back in Ames.

I really hope that officiating crew doesn't get anymore of our games. Someone will get hurt if they don't step up and control the game a little better than they did tonight.

That's 3 road games now where our defense has been suspect, and the offense just hasn't been there.

Baylor couldn't miss, and part of it was terrible defense. Okie State shot well, and we played AWFUL at Texas.

Road games not going well right now.

Baylor is good. Or at least, really talented. We played awfully and missed about every mid-range jumper we took. Hard to win when you don't knock down open shots and you play awful defense.

Oh well, get them in Ames and win the next 2.

26 of ISU's 59 shots were from 3-point range, and ISU only made 8. ISU only shot 8 FTs. It's really difficult to go on the road into a hostile environment against a good team and win like that.

Gotta get to the FT line on the road. ISU needs easier points. This year, it seems that team just isn't wired that way, so it is what it is. Hopefully, CFH can change this in the years to come.

Agreed, I kept waiting for a brawl to break out in the second half.

Isu wins on march 3! No way they miss all the open 3's at Hilton, the magic will be back an Baylor won't know what hit them!!!

Isu doesn't do well in these quick turn around games....Texas, osu and now baylor.

We shot very poorly at the beginning of the game (and half). I thought if we could get up on them early that Baylor would tighten up and not be so confident in themselves as a team. Anyways, its one game and I expect us to come out stronger in our next game.

Poor defense? Our guys were all over them and they weren't missing. That's not bad defense. Anything more aggressive and its nothing but free throws for them.

The way to win that game was to play better on the offensive end.

Also, how awful are the Baylor fans? They have a Top 10 team and can't get 4000 people in their. So ******* pathetic. There is no excuse that explains it.

Baylors size killed us. We played terrible defense and they shot lights out. It was fun to sit near halfcourt in the 10th row (self upgraded seats), but too bad we couldn't play better.

We have a good chance in Hilton.

Agree this would have helped. No flow to the offense, they seemed bothered by Baylor's length. But I find it hard to argue the defense was passable given the number of dunks that were allowed (most out of half court sets).

bad sign to start each half was Heslip getting/making a wide open 3. That shouldn't happen.

Hopefully we come out better against them the 2nd time around.

Fred said he was very unhappy with the effort in post game show.

The defense was not very good at times, but Baylor had so many big athletic guys, it just seemed like they would move the ball around until they got Allen or SC on somebody big and it was all over. I really like SC as a player, but unless he is lighting it up he is going to be way to big of a liabilty on defense against a team like Baylor.
