I think we have a chance. Yes, I am a lifelong Cyclone and I always think we have a chance.

Something like 35-14 OSU, but really not that close statistically/physically.

If I'm wrong, meh. There's not much I've seen that would tell me there's consistency and reliability either side of the football that would continue.

Honestly, I think this is the biggest game of the year for this team. This game will dictate the tone for the rest of the season, if we get d***-stomped I think thats when we start to see the frustrations come out with this young team and could carry over for the last half of the season. If its close, the team will keep fighting and battle for another 2 or so wins on the season and win a couple of ugly games. If Rhoads somehow gets this team to step up and suckerpunch Okie lite in Ames AGAIN, the morale on the team would be amazing and I could definitely see us winning 3 more on the rest of the year. Anyway, really pivotal game Saturday and I am really curious to see what Iowa State team/Messingham comes to play

I honestly think Iowa State will win 21-17, is my bet. Backed up against the wall. The players called a "players only" meeting this week. They will have their **** together. The weather is suppose to be cold and blustery, seems like it has become an advantage.

If there was a 'player only' meeting, hopefully it included ignoring the offensive play calling so they can stick to what works.

What I want:
Oklahoma St.: X
Iowa State: X+Y, where y>0

What will happen:
Oklahoma St.: X, where X>0
Iowa State: 0/X

I expect to see
-Non-existent o-line
-Bad offensive play calling
-3 and outs, on 3 and outs, on 3 and outs
-A lot of Kirby's Punts
-Quiet Sober Jack Trice
-Coach Rhoads who is lost and confused
-Messingham still making calls out his ***
-Poor passing by QB Richardson/Rohach
-Could of, should of, Would of on potential, but dropped interceptions
-A lot of sacks because are Oline is bad at protecting the qb/creating spacing for the running game
-Disappointed fans
-Another loss at Jack Trice.
-Us losing to them for the next 25 years as karma for beating them in 2011.
-An Iowa State team that doesn't want to win. Players that don't care and only come here for the scholarship that they don't deserve.

What if Ok st. scores zero and you're left with an indeterminate form on that second scenario?

I 'spose my soul is crushed and I'll just have to take an attitude of "I'll believe it when I see it" until we win another game.

OSU ... 41
ISU ... 26*

(* 2 touchdowns, 2 field goals, and 3 safetys)

It's up to what team wants to play this Saturday. I will be there like always, it's a very good opportunity for these players to hit it hard every yard for isu and win the ******. I just hope the coaches have them prepared and really mean it this time.

I agree with the OP. ISU 20 - OSU 17. These guys are still playing hard and winning at the end of the season can still do a lot for the future of the program. They were embarrassed last week and I think we will see a totally different team. It won't be easy, but I predict the "W".
Once again, I must remind some ill informed picker that Oklahoma State has not scored less than 20 points in the 3+ years that the Cowboys have been running Holgorsen's Air Raid. With all due respect, you don't have the defense to be the first to accomplish hold them to 19 or fewer.

No one here honestly thinks we will win. With all due respect, you are right. I expect to see a game similar to last year in Stillwater. ISU sucks *** this year, Kansas is better than us. Enjoy the win Okie State, but please beat Baylor/Texas later this season. You are my favorite team in the Big 12, besides the Cyclones of course. (You had that whole paying players in your football program which is definitely unfair to other teams....So I like you less for that I guess.) There is legitimately no team to like in the Big 12.

Texas - Mack Brown/Ref FootBalling/Longhorns Network/Conference money hogs
K State - www.goemaw.com
Kansas - Ref BasketBalling
Okie State - Paying players/29 year old Brandon Weeden playing college ball with a bunch of 19-22 year olds/T BOONE PICKENS!
Oklahoma - Boomer Sooner on Boomer Sooner on Boomer Sooner
Baylor - Private school/shading recruiting/another texas school/Scott Drew/
TCU - Shouldn't be in the conference/No fans/ empty football/basketball stadiums/another texas school
West Virigina - geographical oddballs/loners in conference

and finally my team...
Iowa State - Can't win anything in football, messingham, and **** in football recruiting.

Hoiball is pretty good though!

Oklahoma State 33, Iowa State 24.

ISU's home record has been dismal recently, but Cyclones have lost by double-digits only once at JTS the past 24 months — and that one involved Oklahoma.
