If ISU doesn't beat KU next week, I think CPR needs to start Sam Richardson against West Virginia.

I know this game has not gone as everyone hoped but this is what happens when you're trying to get to the next level. When you have a coach take over a bad team it's hard to get to the point of being good. Now you have a good team and to get to the point of being really good/great it is another hard step and inconsistency is what happens to most teams trying to do this. Every position has to be upgraded through recruiting and development and it will come. There are positives that come out of every loss. Keep the faith, ISU is in good shape.

I wish the coaches had watched some game tape of Texas before the game. If they had, they would have known how terrible they are against the run and they would have exploited that way more. Hope they check out some tape of Kansas before we play them.

Well said. There is no need for a meltdown here. Disappointment, yes. But a stomping forces a team to learn sometimes (public executions serve a purpose?). It's time for the coaches to figure out what's going on, and it's time for the kids to listen and learn. If we have good players, like I think we do, this loss will burn; badly.

Texas scores 7 points below their average, but they held ISU to 25 points below what they normally give up.

This one is WAY more on ISU's offense than it is on our defense.

Well at least iowa lost. Doesn't erase the shittiness of our game, but a win from them would just pile on to it.

Does anybody even want to go to a bowl game? Could you imagine another well coached team going up against this offense with a month to prepare? we would spend a month practicing zone/read and you would see the same &^%t you saw today.
I do hope we right the ship.....but I do not know what our coaches do all week anymore. Jantz should be a gimmick qb brought in a few downs a game.....like tebow. Inexcusable to not get another qb snaps today....for training, morale, etc......
