In other football action: UL-Lafeyette has Florida on the ropes winning 17-13 in the 4th quarter. The Ragin' Cajuns are currently in the red zone.

I don't ever want to see Steele Jantz again. I am entirely done with him. And I'm now in the camp that wants to see Mess fired. How on earth do you go against the run game when it is working on so many key drives.

doubt it will really matter who qb is. offense as a whole just isn't very...what's the word for it?...oh, yeah, good. our offense is bad and wrong. from now on i hope our offense do the opposite of bad wrong...gnorwdab.

In hindsight...I am really glad this is on the LHN.

O is terrible. Mess should be reassigned, or go somewhere else the learn how to call a game.

D-line doesnt contribute nearly enough to the Defense.

In general, the team is still really lacking in size (height and strength) and speed at most every position. This is very obvious at WR and DB.

I love the fact that we have a chance to go to a bowl game again. It is really frustrating to be so close to winning games and not getting the job done. We are almost a good team. But, not there yet. So happy we have CPR. Every year he has been in Ames, ISU has had a legit shot at a bowl game. That is definitely progress.

I love Steele Jantz. He is such a fantastic passer. He oozes poise and confidence and good technique on every play of the game...and I haven't even touched on the incredible touch he puts on the ball when hitting wide open receivers on clutch 3rd downs.

Why must some of you tell us you have given up? Just give up quietly. Would it be better if you take a 100 with your quitting ***?

ISU can beat KU, but not if the D plays like this... and the O plays like this. I have to admit that I thought that the score would be a heck of a lot worse the way they are playing today. Have to wonder if Knott is the difference between a good D and a bad one...

players aren't executing well enough to know what the plays even are. every pass play ends up being a broken play. all of our offerless diamonds in the rough recruits seem to be getting outplayed by all the overrated players with 4/5* and a boatload of offers.

to quote coach green "we are who we thought we were". a team with a good coach, a lot of grit, without the talent to get to the upper half of the big 12. not this year anyhow. hopefully our incoming recruits are less rough and more diamond. time will tell.

When the problem exists for one game its on the players. When the problem exists for the last 4 years, its on the coaches.
