I know, Im sick of losing basketball games the exact same way with the savior Prohm at the helm. I wish we would fire him and bring Hoiberg back.

I think your issues have little to do with basketball.

Today's game was frustrating...it's a concern for a team we support/cheer for, etc. and it's interesting discussion but the reality is if it's the biggest problem of the day, life is pretty awesome.

But I think there's really some stuff going on here.

Nah, Im good, I've decided to do a self imposed ban until the end of the January anyways. This board is how I vent my frustrations with how the program is going the last 4 years. I wont be posting for awhile so don't worry.

I'd recommend longer than that. Like, June.

I know what you mean though...I'm still fuming about that horrible 2012-13 season and how Tim Floyd only went to the 2nd round with Johnny's future NBA players in 1995.

The collective IQ of this board will rise by about 30 points without you in it to brag about how great the '14-15 team that won the Big 12 tournament but then laid a giant turd as a #3 seed against UAB and how bad the '16-17 team was that did the same damn thing but also actually won a game in the tournament, but it doesn't count to you since you can't handle anybody besides your living god CFH coaching the team.

I'd be tempted to put him on "ignore", and it's small of me, but I actually enjoy being mean to him, making fun of him, and exposing him for the idiot he is when he brags about the "great" team of '14-15 team winning the Big 12 tournament but then losing to frickin' UAB while completely minimizing the accomplishments of the teams after that who have also won Big 12 tournament titles and also won games in the NCAA tournament all because he's a whiny little b!tch who can't handle anyone besides CFH as the head of the program.

If the level and intensity of my abuse towards him keeps him away for even a temporary amount of time from here I'll take it as a win.

So I was traveling and missed the game- but not sure how much I’m going to sit through a 58-57 loss and certainly not skimming through this thread.

Can anyone give me a rundown of what happened?

Back to the game.
My opinions:
1) Bruce Weber is a very good coach and his teams play great defense
2) their defense won the game
3) they looked bigger and stronger than us. At certain positions quicker too.
4) love Haliburton, but he could not stay in front of his man
5) wigginton is not fitting in - yet? Top level talent, but forcing things too much. Not sure how this gets fixed
6) I thought the only person who played good was Conditt
7) I do not think the last two games have been CsP’s best games. Yesterday, I imagine he was trying to find the right lineup, but some strange rotations. Eventually found the group that got us up 5 or 7, whatever it was.
8) Conditt should have been in at the end. Everybody knew KSU would drive it to the hole. I believe Conditt is our best rim protector - even better than Lard because he does not foul.
9) I think Wigg was our best option at the end. Not really time for a pass, somebody just get it and go and take the shot. I know it is tough, but he could have gone further, shot too soon and too far out. You hope for a better shot and maybe a foul. Easy to say and see from the stands.
10) free throws - ugh
11) as CMC would say - are you a contender or pretender? Unfortunately, this week may leave us in the pretender category. Not like we got blown out, but you got to protect home court.
12) we do need Lard at 100%, but I doubt he could play better than Conditt did in the same number of minutes. I was very impressed by Conditt.
13) feel sorry for Solo. Great kid. Not sure he was going to get big minutes this year anyway.
14) back to Wigg. Until he fits in we will struggle. I feel like he wants to reclaim his position as the star.
15) tough game for THT, because of Weber’s defense. He did hit two huge threes.
16) KState is a good team. Wade did not hurt us, but will get better every game. A healthy KSU is loaded with experience. They deserved their pre season #2 pick in the league.
17) season not over. We will win many more games, but this week put us in a considerable hole to finish In the upper half of the league. KU, KSU And Tech look like the top 3
