East of Neptune, IA.
We have the wrong guys taking 3s at critical times. Hunter at the shot clock and Grill keeps taking them when he's already missed the first five.
Why your best three point shooter is not on the floor in OT is head scratcher.

Time to deal with it. This is a bad basketball team right now. Fools gold start. Full compliment of 300 type teams, bad Memphis, Iowa team that can’t beat anybody with a pulse, injured Xavier, etc. Mature players that played hard to start and overwhelmed young teams.

Everybody would’ve signed up for this number of wins, but this has been a monumental, epic collapse that has pretty much sucked all optimism out of next year.

This is a bad basketball team that appears to have no plan outside of outwork everybody, have Brockington make ridiculous shots.
Iowa is still going to end up in the tournament:

if you make too many shots TJ benches you, but if you can’t make a shot like Grill you don’t have to worry about being taken out of the game. Keep chucking it!
People have been giving out dumb reactions for people saying it's clear he has his favorites (Grill, Gabe) but it's pretty obvious to me that that's correct.

I don't know if it's the worst, but it is absolutely the team with the least awareness as to their shooting ability. There have been teams that acknowledged they can't shoot and didn't keep shooting.

in their defense, you do need to shoot to score, which is the object of the game

We have no one else unfortunately.
I don't see too big a drop off from Jackson to Grill. And both Jackson and Walker are at least not afraid to dribble the ball and facilitate offense some. I don't think either one of them have shot us into a loss yet either. I like Grill, I just think he got way too much run today when he really wasn't doing anything well

Pathetic performance

tj is not what one would consider a great offensive mind...he Has to go hire an offensive coach or this is going to be a short experiment

It won’t be a short experiment. No matter what happens he’s here for at least 5 years.

He will get every chance to fail, and then some. And that’s ok.

Let’s hope he knocks it out of the park in the portal. Brockington will hopefully pay dividends.

32 minutes is not good for what he brought.
