They need to incorporate a Little League 10 run type rule and call this ridiculous beat down at half. We don't even want to be out there.

fire CPR, I just can not stand this BS anymore. So sick of this crap of hoping that your defense will somehow rise up after a season of getting hammered.

I just want them to play this game for what it really is: their bowl game. This is it, the last game of the year. There are no records to worry about, no consequences to being aggressive. Pull out all the ******* stops to try to win this thing

Exactly. We all know that our team is bad. They know it, too, but you can't mail it in.

That's what endeared us to Rhoads in the first place. He wasn't going to back down, no matter who we faced. Now we just roll over and die.

with the way the team has played all year I don't get the thought that if we pull out all the stops that will work.

If Leath does not demand that Pollard clean house in this very high profile endeavor of our institution, we will be known as the "Iowa State University of Science, Technology, and Poorly Coached Football". The perception could be that we are an inferior institution, accepting failure. If I was at the CDC, the Dept. of Agriculture, or some other alphabet agency of the Feds, I would consider giving my grant dollars to another institution like North Dakota State or such instead of ISU.

Rhoads did some really great things his first few years.

The teams the past two years have flashed and have had some AWFUL luck with injuries, officiating, and just not being able to pull out close games like Rhoads did the first couple years.

Still getting "piggy squealed" by any good team we face is getting old, though.

I'm not saying you have to beat OU or Baylor or something. But 35-21 would feel nicer than 70-0.

Injuries have really hurt this year, but damn, CPR is just not good enough as a head coach overall. The next coach, whenever that may be, will have a bigger challenge than DMac.
