Everything is correct.Couple of observations about Lipscomb:
Really only play 7 guys - 4 guards and 3 bigs. 8th guy is a big guard (6'6") who has played every game, but averages 2ppg in 8 minutes a game.
The key group - the guards Pruitt(#2) and Anderson(#22) plus leading scorer Ognacevic (#41) basically don't come out of the game. They also basically never foul - all 3 of those average less than 2 fouls per 40 minutes.
Can they withstand our physical play, hold up for 40 minutes and not commit fouls? That's the real question of the game to me.
They don't force many turnovers, but don't commit many either (especially unforced)
They don't get many offensive rebounds, but they are good on the defensive glass
They don't get to the FT line much, but are top 10 in keeping opponents off the line
I’d feel a lot better if I knew Lipsey is 80-90%. He’s the key.

Correct, 7 does seem lowAny kind of win would be great today.
Hopefully ISU has some new wrinkles and plays a really sharp game.
They played well without KG and Lipsey last week but Lipscomb's had film on it and I'm not assuming Cujo will hit 7 threes.
And Michael Nurse doesn't comb his hair when he knows it's going to be a dog fight.I don't know about you guys, but I don't normally comb my lips
I get he's not a pg, but I really think we should get Watson some time just to spread out some minutes a bit more. Common fan hot take I know.
I wish I were there!! In the heart of Cyclonedom.
So they don't waste energy crashing Off boards and just get back on Def.Couple of observations about Lipscomb:

Amen. And I understand it in the moment. It's crazy we are at the entitled fan point where losing a Big XII Champ game in football (in a season we won 11 games & bowl game vs Miami) and having both our men's and women's bball team in the NCAA tournament can still fill some of us with a bit of disappointment.Hate to see 2024-25 sports season come to an end! While there have been some disappointments in basketball as well as football and women's basketball due to some unprecedented expectations, win or lose these are special times to be a Cyclone. Go State!
Umm, I think that's pretty much what I said.Lol BYU is very athletic. I think a lot of fans/pundits assume because they have a lot of white guys that they're just highly skilled. But Saunders, Stewart, Mag, and Keita have high-level athleticism. And then Demin is a 6'9" PG who can handle and pass. Lipscomb ain't BYU.
9QR2I'd like to see him out there to provide some length and rebounding, maybe a breather for Jefferson.
