Duke is an incredibly lucky team
When was the last time a tourney was so 'chalky'?
Feels like a lot of the 1/4 abs 2/3 matchups.
It'll take a few years to confirm this is the case or not, but i wouldnt be surprised if the new metrics make the seeding more 'accurate' and thus more likely to be chalky.
Washington’s block is a foul on a lot of guys
Refs completely influenced the Ky game. If Iowa State was in that situation, we would've been talking about the exact same thing. Didn't allow Houston to be physical at all, but Ky clearly commits a foul on Davis Jr last drive. Same thing with Duke vs UCF. Refs swallow the whistle, conveniently when it favots the blue bloods. It seems to me I've seen alot more of this sort of thing this year...a guy driving to the hoop get clobbered by the follow-through of the shot blocker and no foul is called, while an outside shooter gets bumped by a guy flying out and gets sent to the line for 3 FTs. What's the difference?
