Maybe the players read too many CF posts. This team has some pockmarks that isn't going to get cleared up by the addition of JM. Maybe the pundits are right and we aren't as good as the fans think we are.

The defense has been bad, but it is nowhere close to how bad the offense and rebounding has been. The defense has been good enough if those two things were functional.

Exactly, we held them well enough that if we even kind of score like we should, it ends up us winning by 10+. We just forgot to play offense tonight.

No loss is good, but these guys may have needed this beat down. Fred will use it as well as any coach out there. Right now everyone on the team is trying to do "their thing" but fred will get them to do "our thing" in the next few weeks.

Our guys also need a little mental workout...gotta keep heads in the game when things are not going well. They have seemed overly mopey/hanging heads and making sloppy plays.

Iowa State was awful. The refs were poor. The Iowa State Twitter account was questionable. But, man...these announcers are worse than all those put together.

Poor D. Poor shooting (30% FG and 26% 3PT as of right now). Major trouble with their size. PLUS them shooting a lot better than us.

Hope they all learn something from this...they didn't really react like they did last year when they were down.

Hogue, Morris, Thomas combine 3-21. Game, set, match. Shots just didn't fall folks. Happens. It's unusuall to have three key players all shoot that poorly, prob won't happen again.
