i have a feeling i'm gonna have a love/hate relationship with BDJ's shot selection this year

Well, we had a love/hate relationship with Ejim's and Kane's shot selection last year, so par for the course.

His "fall down every play" strategy resulted in one foul, a travel, free throws for edozie, and it looked like he would need a doctor shortly.

Not sure why, but it seems like Hoiball always has slow starts. We had multiple ones last year as well.

You guys are only down 3 at the half. Maryland is playing out of their minds, but relax, you got one the best players in CBB in Niang. I can say with a fair amount of confidence that you guys got this, and will win going away.

Well, much like Alabama yesterday, Maryland had about as good a half as they could expect, controlling the tempo, having outside shots fall, ISU being completely off from the field, etc - and they're only up 3.

We actually outrebounded them thanks to Edozie. Hogue struggled. Monte struggled. Just an odd half.

Last shot was very much a barometer of how that first went

Maryland is winning because they continue to make extra passes and hustle for boards. ISU continues to force bad shots and stand around (Not Edozie) for rebounds. ISU is the much talented team, but Maryland is playing much better and it's still a 1 possession game at half. I expect ISU to take control early in the second half.

Need to get Matt T. in the game and set some good picks for him. Maryland's bigs are really physical and the ref are letting them play.

I have faith in Hoiberg that he can fix this mess-ingham at the half and we come out big in the second half and run Maryland off the court.
