I'll take the guy who was supposed to win it last year before he fell down some stairs the day before the tournament started. Dustin Johnson, right? How's he been playing?

Guessing a lot of people are glad they didn't get paired with Tiger. The amount of "patrons" following him is going to be crazier than even normal. Lot of "commotion" to deal with for those in his group.

It's better being with him than a group ahead.

Mikelson ~ Fowler ~ Kuch at 12:27 pm Tee. Fun group.
Bubba ~ Stenson ~ Day, 10:04am.
Tiger probably likes the morning 9:42 am start in case weather / wind picks later.

Do all previous winners get an automatic invite - so that's why Sandy Lyle is in the field, but not say, former runner-up, Ernie Els?

My dream Sunday pairings would be Tiger and Phil in the final group with Spieth and Justin Thomas chasing in the penultimate group. Don't have any idea who will win, but my order of preference would be:
1. Tiger
2. Phil
3. Spieth

Not a big fan of Thomas - don't know why. Just please don't give us Patrick Reed battling Daniel Berger or Gary Woodland or some such on Sunday.

It's almost as bad if you're in front of him because there's always movement. I didn't notice it until just recently but Tiger will mark a bunch of short putts because he knows what it will do if he finishes out. The guys playing with him are well equipped to deal with this though.

Ok. He's had some marginal outings and wasn't good in the match play. That said, these guys can turn it around so fast that it's hardly fair to project average play to the next week. I'm not as worried about him as Spieth.

Yep, all former Masters winners have a lifetime exemption. Jack and Gary Player could tee it up in the official tournament if they wanted to.

That's why Tom Watson hung it up a couple years ago.

You get old enough and you're in danger of hanging a C-note on a long course.

This has to be the most anticipated Masters or major of all time. I cannot recall so many great players playing some of their best golf coming into this week. There has be 20 guys that have a legit chance of winning this week.

That is one good thing for the bad weather this weekend - i won't feel bad for sitting on the couch for 2 days.

He'll think that's really weird.

Completed my Master's draft last night with 7 other buddies. I wound up with Tiger, Ricky, Patrick Reed, Kevin Kisner, Ryan Moore, Tony Finau and Matthew Fitzpatrick. Feeling pretty good.

I'll take Rory, his driver should shine and if he can putt as well as he did at the Arnold Palmer, he could really light that place up.

How does scoring work? That's going to matter with that lineup.
