Great win by the guys today, close 1st half then closed them out in the 2nd. I'm good with that.

You can tell Mizzou has been gone too long, the hatred for when they come out for shoot around just isn't there anymore. For a lot of fans it's just another non-con game. Great win today though time to get ready for KU Tues nite. I'll be there.
I agree that it seems like Missouri has been gone to long! I wanted so bad to chant sit down Norm!

Testifying
Martin is so overrated. That was not a well coached team on the floor today. They played aggressive defensive and they have some athletes but they weren't strong mentally. I do think he would be a great replacement for Fran in Iowa City when they run him out though.
Mizzou was lucky making shots in the first half, that was it. They played pretty dumb actually. The icing on the dumb cake was the 10 second back court call with us giving zero pressure.

That game was the definition of one of those games where a superior opponent comes out of half, says enough screwing around, and completely buries their opponent in the first eight minutes --

Nice to be the team inflicting this on somebody instead of on the receiving end of it.

According to this, 19

So if season ended today, woukd be biggest win % improvement in history. (2-22 = 8.3% win percentage). Were at 76.1% today, so improvement of 67.1%.

If we win 6 more, we'd set the single season turnaround record for percentage. 5 more and we'd tie the single season games turnaround record. Incredible.

No kidding. Kansas's program is as crooked as they come and Ol Bill is in charge.
I was reading the other day that KU's involvement in the Adidas scandal is being tied up by Kansas lawmakers. Something to do with public to private interactions. Anyway, stopped reading because the whole state is crooked. Go to Manhattan and get screwed in football.. Lawrence in basketball

TBF you are a pioneer when it comes to giving up on coaches. ;)
Oh now. I do really like this staff so far. They have easily out performed the talent level so far and I really enjoy our style of play and identity. I’m honestly surprised demand for games isn’t higher than it is. Gotten cheap tickets for all the big games.

I was gone all day yesterday so just now getting to watch the replay. I freaking HATE remote announcers. The play where Grill hit the floor and had the blind pass to Jones for the dunk would have normally drowned the announcers out. Instead they turn down the crowd noise and made it sound like a church social. What a joke.

That was kind of their m.o. at the NIT and such so maybe they've found it again.

Just looking at the box score and noticed Jones and Conditt only combine for 27 minutes. Used small lineup a little more than previously.
Their 5 was a long skinny athletic guy who was causing some issues for our bigs on the defensive end. Jones couldn’t stay in front of him. Smart on TJ’s part to go small to counter that.

Speaking of threes:
Thru 21 games

Jaz .500 2.1 shots/game
IZB .409 2.1
Caleb .396 4.6
TE .375 0.4
TJ .362 2.8
Gabe .241 5.3
TH .218. 1.7

Surprised Grill is that high. Seems like he is 5-7 or 1-8. Weird shot- very flat, very quick.

No stats or research, but seems to me that when he catches the ball with his feet already set, he is money. If he has to catch and square, then no so much. That's my perception anyway.
