Injuries killed us: Bundrage and Farniok were 2 HUGE early losses. Cotton-Moya getting ejected also killed our defense. We must have the worst f'n luck of any sports team not named the Cubs.

I don't buy the injury excuse, but suppose it was true. That would mean that in five years CPR has built a program whose fate hinges entirely on one or two guys. A drop off from starter to backup is to be expected, but that wasn't just a drop off at those positions. It was a goddamn freefall for the whole team. And that lies at CPR' s feet.

If a power 5 conf. team loses any four players and becomes that outclassed by an FCS team replacing a head coach and a ton of guys, then you have no hope.

I know, but that was 4 starters on top of the dismissals of Coe, Irving, etc. Montgomery and Ecby not playing. I mean, we were already pretty thin at depth. Not saying that was the only factor for us losing, but it definitely contributed. Our leading wide receiver and starting center are pretty big positions. I mean we were up 14-0 and gaining 7yds per carry. After Farniok went out, we were only gaining 2yds per carry. That makes a difference.

Then, of course, the freak tipped passed interceptions. It seems like every INT on Richardson last year was off of a tipped pass. Same **** again this year. I don't know what to think...

Sorry buddy we lost at home by 20 to an FCS team, theres no excuse for that.

*sigh* I know, I know... Just trying to make ANY sense of this debacle. What hurts is not the margin of victory, but rather that all their points were unanswered. Crazy.

Just wonder how long before the QB carousel begins. Nothing creates confidence more than the fear of being replaced after a less than stellar game. Is it Sam oh wait it's Grant. So on and so forth

Wtf is it with these *******? Listening to them you would think we were losing 28-0.

My apologies everyone. My cardinal shades ensured that I was one of the last ones to realize the **** show we were preparing to watch for the rest of the game.

Zero turnovers by the defense doesnt help either. The one chance we had the DB dropped the ball on a possible pic 6. I meant defensive back in case you were wondering.

Yes, because we are the better team. But clearly the coaching staff can't put together a winning game plan or get anything right.

What part of this performance makes you think ISU is the better team? We could list the ways NDSU was the superior team, but I don't have all day to type that out. We can boil it down and say ISU was the inferior team on offense, defense and special teams.

How do you remove the coach from your assessment of the team?

It's very very obvious NDSU was the superior team today

If we HAVE to play FCS why not Incarnate Word... they are turrible. UNI should never be on our schedule again at this rate. Spend our $1 million on a win and if that FCS team wins three National Championships in three years, you buy that team out and pay someone else.

As for Iowa. Play Rice or UTEP... their great seasons are typically a fluke. A home and away with either of those teams has so much more value than Iowa ever could have.

I expect a competitive game, I don't expect the beatdown 99% of the ndsu fans are calling for. They lost their entire coaching staff and even AD along with lots if players. The ndsu faithful are basically saying the Bizen logo is going to jump off the helmet and violate us.

I disagree

Seriously? Injuries are not why this was a blow out
