Nooooooo! My cable box just took a dump! Smoke coming out and everything... Guess I have to abandons the wife and kid and head for the bar to watch the game...
I know that The OP is going to have the big screen and sound on the pantherhawk game today, just a heads up.
$7 big mason jar drinks on Saturdays. That alone makes it worth the trip. That location has suffered a bit with the owners investing their time and resources on the new places in WDM, Johnston, Ankeny, etc. - it's kind of dirty but for me, it's home during football season.
Yikes. That sounds like a terrible place to be. If you sat in the middle of the bar you'd have stupid in stereo.
Still the best food out of any of the Jethro's locations, IMO. And yes...those big arse mason jars are great. Fill them up with some DSM IPA, and things can get weird in a hurry.
They need to do some damage today to make an impact. Aggressive, attacking football. Don't want to see a close game. Mangino should be the Bison's biggest worry today. I'm sure Mangino wants to make a nice imprint for his first game. This will be exciting.
Heading to the in laws house. My brother n law lives in Fargo and is an NDSU grad. Should be a good time watching with his family.
