It's recruiting man. I'm not sure why everyone has made excuses for Paul's recruiting, but it's been horrible. We have FCS athletes, so it's no shock that we are losing at home to the FCS champs.

It is as good as it is ever going to be. Why is that so hard for people to understand? Reality is not an excuse. Our choice is to coach up the ones we get. Always has been. Always will be.

I did not renew my season ticket this year for the first time in 7 years. It is more of a location thing, 3 hours from Ames. But seriously I'm not regretting the decision one bit right now. This is dumb as ****.

Recruiting does not concern me as much as roster management and development. It is McDermott like- as is the peeing down your leg when plays are there to be made.
Losing two years in a row to FCS teams located in Iowa and North Dakota pretty much takes away the ability to pass it off on things other than the coaching staff, not only in these games, but in others.

Yep, I agree. Recruiting hasn't been good, but not terrible. Player development has been beyond pathetic.

I am starting to believe that Chizik recruited better players, and we are seeing the result of Paul not having those guys anymore.
