Crap, now I need to walk around town and go to church on sunday with a bandaid over my eye and a walking boot. At least my priest is a cyclone fan, might not be as creepy.

Man, this one hurts. It wasn't like we needed him to finish that game, nor did it happen on a dirty play or anything. Just a stroke of bad luck, and now we'll never know who far we would've gone with one of the best teams in ISU history. Sounds about right.

I just heard... I'm so sorry... for Nieng and for Cyclone Fanatics... This is just not fair... What a great player and a great kid.

Heartbroken for you guys and for him. I don't know what else to say... Good luck against Carolina.

Go Clones!!!!

Im blaming Obama. He picked UNC over us. Realized he was wrong, so had the UNNC guy break Niangs foot.

Just in case...

First off..I'm sure they will get 2nd opinions, as I doubt there are any Radiologists in there. We'll see...he sure played pretty well on it, maybe they can numb him up and go?

Maybe I'm in denial...

Yes. If he was a senior, maybe. Not as a sophomore. He's done.

Well, I guess I wont have to worry about a Final 4 anymore. Right when I thought there wouldn't be a kick in the balls whoever the kicker is snuck up from behind and got it in 5 times worse

I'm pretty much speechless. No way we can do this thing without Niang. What a freaking bummer.

Buck up, Godammit!!!

Still got Ejim, Long, Hogue, Morris, Kane, Matty, Edozie, Gibson, Ellerman...

And George on the bench to light them up.

It's not over until it's over and it's not over.

Not yet.

I feel for Georges as he's the heart of this team....lots of hard work to go down like this as we were poised to make a run. He is that X factor that is hard to guard and can get points when they can be hard to get.

I know he'll be motivating the heck out of the guys in timeouts and someone (Hogue?) will have to pick up slack.

I joked with my family tonight that we should save some threes for Sunday...we really will need to be hitting the long ball from here in out.

This does sting as a fan...I was tasting the kook aid.

O.K. all you pansies! So we will be without Niang...why lose the faith? We are still alive and I believe we can still go far with this team. Kane, Ejim, Morris, Houge and whoever else CFH decides to go with will keep this going.
I still have Iowa State going to the Final Four and even winning it.
Please for everyone's sake - grow a pair because I am not sure a lot of you may not have any if you constantly think this way.

Go ahead - fire away at my response - I can take it I've got a pair!
