You guys realize hustling doesn't equate to better defense, right?

It sure as hell helps a lot.
Getting beat because we aren't as good is one thing, but getting beat because of lack of effort and hustle is another.

I will attempt to be more positive. I'm one of those people that tends to only speak up when people aren't doing their jobs, and not when they are. That's bad on me.

When someone catches a pass in football that they're supposed to catch, I don't come on here and post... hey, great catch. I figure it's something they are supposed to do.

And that is a fault of mine. I agree with you on that. I like discussion. It's not really a discussion if everyone just agrees all the time IMO. I think we'd all agree that Friday night's win was AWESOME. So that really isn't up for debate in my eyes. But I should give credit where credit is due.

But asking whether or not Fred Hoiberg needs to coach differently definately will stir up discussion. So I think that's why I ask those types of things?

But I just wish people would say... "hey clonedude, I think you're dead wrong about Fred... there are a lot of coaches that are succesful that don't yell and scream." That would be an intelligent response to my post.... versus saying.... clonedude's a doosh.... he's an idiot... he's a loser... blah, blah, blah.

Just tell me that you disagree, and why. That's all. And definately more mature.

No one wants to have a discussion with a patholigical downer. It's not only uninteresting it's down right annoying.

No one wants to listen to you ***** and whine, we all get enough of that in our day to day lives as is. Not sure how hard that is to pick up on, but it's clear as day to everyone else.

This team is not as good as we thought they would be. A facts a fact. Do they have time to improve? No doubt. But will they? I'll wait until January to decide that. But as of now, we arent anything un ordinary at ISU

The non conference schedule has seen some fairly close games so far. No blowouts. Even Western Carolina was competitive for a large portion of the game. Lucky Creighton is not on the menu.
