We spend a lot of time trying to get the technique right -- lowering and throwing the body at the ball -- except do it so slowly that we make a lot of "air tackes"..and the OU player has flown by a few seconds before that

I've witnessed a LOT of bad defense's in my 40 years as a Cyclone fan, but nothing like this I'm afraid.

OU's RBs and QB are not even getting touched. And when they finally do, 20 yds downfield, it's a pathetic half-a**ed arm tackle attempt.

We need to clean house I think. I can't understand performances like this.

Honestly - the D is atrocious.

But can you blame them? We knew they were young, inexperienced and undermanned.

And even when they do manage to pull something out of their arse and get a stop - they're back on the field 90 seconds later because the O runs such an inept hurry up.

The O was supposed to be the saving grace this year. They're every bit as bad, if not worse.
